• Guest Users: Links are temporary and automatically expire after 24 hours.
• Registered Members: Links are permanent (subject to activity) and offer advanced features based on a Credit System.

3. Accounts and Authentication

To access permanent link creation and advanced features, you must register an account.

• Authentication: We use third-party providers (Google and Discord) for authentication. By using these methods, you authorize us to access specific public profile information (username, avatar, email) required to create your account.
• Discord Community: Some features or registration paths may require verified membership in the official Techrail Discord server. Leaving the server or being banned from it may affect your access to specific "Community" tier benefits.

4. The "Red Economy" (Credits & Payments)

Our platform operates on a virtual currency system called "Credits."

• No Monetary Value: Credits have no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are non-transferable between accounts.
• Free Credits: We may issue free credits for actions (e.g., daily logins, social sharing). These credits may be subject to caps (e.g., rolling over up to 200 credits) and expiration logic as defined in our dashboard.
• Purchased Credits: Credits purchased via "Packs" do not expire as long as your account remains active.
• Refunds: All purchases of Credit Packs are final and non-refundable, except where required by law.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use Red to shorten links to content that is:

• Illegal: Content that violates laws in India or the United States.
• Malicious: Phishing, malware, scams, or "rick-rolling" that crashes browsers.
• Spam: Unsolicited mass marketing or link farming.
• Explicit: Pornography, gore, or hate speech.

Enforcement: We reserve the right to disable any link and ban any user found violating this policy without refund of credits. Guest links found to be malicious will be deleted immediately.

6. Data Ownership

Unlike other platforms, we believe in data portability.

• Your Data: You retain the right to export your link analytics. We provide tools to download your specific data in SQLite format.
• Service Data: We retain rights to the aggregate, anonymized usage data of the platform to improve performance.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Red is provided "as is." While we strive for 99.9% uptime and high performance, we do not guarantee that links will be accessible 100% of the time. We are not liable for any damages resulting from link downtime or expiration (specifically regarding Guest links).

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Significant changes to the "Credit Economy" or "Data Ownership" policies will be communicated via email or a dashboard notification. In all other cases, you, the user of the service are liable to keep track of any changes.

1. Information We Collect

We believe in collecting the minimum amount of data necessary to provide our service.

A. Account Data

When you register via Google or Discord, we collect:

• Your Email Address (for identification and critical notifications).
• Your Name/Username.
• Your Avatar/Profile Picture.
• Discord Specific: Your Server Roles (to verify community membership status).

B. Usage Data (Analytics)

When a user clicks a link created on Red, we collect "Deep Analytics" data points to display to the link creator:

• IP Address: Anonymized and converted to broad Geolocation data (Country/City). We do not store raw IP addresses indefinitely.
• User Agent: To determine Device Type, Browser, and Operating System.
• Referrer: To determine where the click came from.

2. How We Use Your Data

• Service Provision: To create, redirect, and track your shortened URLs.
• Economy Logic: To calculate daily login bonuses and social sharing rewards.
• Security: To detect abuse, spam, and bot traffic.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data.

• Public Links: The destination URL and the shortened slug are public information.
• Service Providers: We may use third-party providers for hosting and payment processing. These parties have access to data only as needed to perform their functions.
• Legal: We may disclose data if required by law or to protect the safety of our users.

4. Your Rights (Data Portability)

You have the right to access the data we hold about you.

• Data Dumps: You may download a SQLite database containing your link history and analytics from your Dashboard at any time.
• Account Deletion: You may request full account deletion by contacting support.

5. Cookies

We use cookies solely for:

1. Authentication: Keeping you logged in.
2. Security: CSRF protection.

We do not use third-party tracking pixels (like Facebook Pixel) on our dashboard.
